Hogwarts Rules [PLEASE READ]

First off, I would like to thank you for joining Hogwarts! We aim to give you as much roleplaying freedom as we can, but some rules must be out before we begin the fun. Please make sure to read and follow them, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask any Headmaster or Professor.


1: No excessive cursing/foul language (No F, C, or N words as well as no stringing together several curses)

2: No out-of-RP angst/trolling with other members. We're all here to have a good time, and if you have anything against someone else, please just PM them or talk to them elsewhere

3: No killing off other characters without their permission (There really shouldn't be any killing in Hogwarts, but anything can happen, so it's always a possibility)

4: No witchcraft in the hallways

5: Love/Romance is allowed, but please don't make it too excessive. A Professor will PM you if it begins to go to far, but please don't go past making out at the most.

6: No Spamming the forums with off-topic posts (Or just any off-topic posts away from Privet Drive)

7: Please keep the chatbox PG.

8: Nothing of a sexual nature, please. (That includes all areas of the forum)

9: No Godmodding (displaying powers beyond your character's skill).

10: No backseat-modding (acting like a moderator/administrator during situations in which one is clearly needed). No, this won't improve your chances of becoming one. No, we won't confuse this with just being helpful (something we DO allow )

11: At the moment, please limit yourself to one character, until further notice.


Of course, more may be added in the future, but please aim to follow these. You will be given a warning, but after that, you will either be banned or suspended from school for a certain amount of time.

Any member that breaks these rules will get two warnings. After those warnings, suspensions of 1 day, one week, one month, or permanent bans will be enacted, depending on the repetition of rule breaking or the severity of rule breaking.
